Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the FormCerts Google Forms add-on, website and dashboard (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them.
Your account
You need a Google account to use FormCerts. You are responsible for activity on your account and for the forms you connect.
Acceptable use
You may only send certificates to people who submitted your form. You must not use FormCerts to:
- send spam, phishing or unsolicited bulk email;
- issue certificates that impersonate another organization or misrepresent a qualification;
- send unlawful, harmful or infringing content; or
- interfere with the Service or attempt to bypass its limits.
Email deliverability is shared by all customers, so we may throttle or suspend accounts with high bounce or complaint rates, or that break these rules. Report abuse to abuse@formcerts.com.
Your content
You keep ownership of your designs, form content and recipient data. You give us the permission we need to process it to run the Service, and you confirm you have the right to provide recipients' data to us for that purpose.
Verification
A FormCerts verification page confirms that a certificate was issued through FormCerts by the account shown, and whether it has been revoked. It does not verify the identity or accreditation of the issuer.
Plans and billing
Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe and renew until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. An Event Pass is a one-time purchase valid for the period stated at checkout. When a plan's certificate limit is reached, new submissions are recorded but not sent until the limit resets or you upgrade.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service reliable but it is provided “as is”. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice, and will notify you of material changes to these terms.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Termination
You can stop using FormCerts and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms. Data is then deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.
